6th Grade ASB Representative Application
In addition to having a president, vice president, treasurer and secretary, ASB has other positions, including representatives. At the end of the first trimester (November 30), several 6th grade students will be selected to join the ASB flex class for the rest of the year.
The process to apply includes several steps. The first step is to write a letter explaining why you would like to be a part of Skyridge Middle School’s ASB.
Your letter must address each of the following points:
- What strengths, talents and experiences do you have?
- What kind of nice things have you done, or do you do, for other people?
- What do you like to do in your spare time?
- Are you involved in sports or other groups (boy/girl scouts, science Olympiad, SNN, piano lessons, etc.)?
- Have you done any volunteer work? If not, what would you like to do?
- What improvements would you like to see here at Skyridge?
- What is the NAME of your first CORE teacher (not your STAR class; we need the name of the teacher that you have right after STAR.)
Please keep the letter to ONE PAGE. We will accept handwritten or typed. All handwriting must be legible. Please head your paper like the example at the bottom of the page.
The deadline for submitting this letter is FRIDAY – November 2, 2012
