COMMITTEE RESPONSIBILITIES
Any projects that the Committees embark on require Board’s approval before work commences.
NOTE: Committee Meetings require a 48 hour notice prior to meeting – minutes must be kept and submitted to the office post meeting.
BEUTIFICATION – responsible for working with the common areas of the Park in plantings, upkeep, recommendation, etc. for improvement to enhance the beauty of Mobile Estates. Any projects require Board’s approval before work commences.
BUDGET-FINANCE – responsible for preparation of the next year’s budget which will be submitted for approval by the Board/shareholders.
DISASTER PREPAREDNESS – responsible for directing residents to shelters when and if there is a disaster watch/warning from the Department of Emergency Management of SRQ County.
MAINTENANCE – responsible for various maintenance jobs required in the park including repairs, building projects, ground maintenance, etc. that need attention.
NEW HOME/ALTERATIONS – responsible for reviewing all outside alterations or old home pull outs/new home placement requests to comply with Mobile Estates/County rules and codes.
OFFICE – responsible for office efficiencies to serve our shareholders in a most effective manner including processes, procedures, technology, etc., as well as minimize risks/liability due to the confidentiality of information that must be safeguarded. They also will coordinate the Office Volunteer Committee including scheduling, practices, and procedures.
POOL – responsible to open and close the pool, make recommendations regarding pool rules/regulations, and to remove/cover the pool/spa when inclement weather requires.
RECREATION – responsible for organizing all social events/functions held in the Park, including dinners, bus trips, etc.
SCREENING – responsible for interviewing all new residents providing them with rules/regulations, completion of “New Resident Application” with new residents, processing the application, answering questions and making a determination of the acceptance of the applicant(s). If an applicant is not being accepted the applications, along with all of the due diligence should be turned over to the Board for the ultimate decision.
WATER/SEWER – responsible for maintaining the water/sewer network of Mobile Estates Park including the two Lift Stations along with the preventive maintenance to keep the system in good working order.
WEBSITE – responsible for maintaining the Mobile Estates Website by keeping it current, fresh, and appealing to prospective shareholders, as well as present shareholders consistent with Best Website Practices. Revised 3-10-12
