On behalf of the Shepaug Baseball and Softball and the Girls U14 and U16 travel softball teams, “Shepaug Storm”, I would like to take this opportunity to seek your support for what is to come - our annual sponsorship campaign. As we begin to gain support from the community, the travel softball program for girls will begin to flourish and become more exciting for each year’s participants.

The Shepaug Storm was developed due to a strong interest in young girls becoming more competitive playing the game of softball. In our small community it is sometimes hard to field teams within that offer an environment suitable to the player caliber of young athletes so we try and form a local team of local community talent that is able to participate in leagues and tournaments and in this case, offer the girls a quality program where they can play competitively and enhance their softball skills. Teams of this nature though cost more money than an average youth sports registration and need funding to offer the experience the girls are deserving of.

Our official pledge campaign is underway and we would like to see you become a part of it. We are seeking sponsors for the team at $ 150 each. The rate includes your sponsor name or logo on the website, a banner to be hung at all of our tournament locations, a season ending thank you plaque and any promotional items we are able to get out to the community such as program guides.

We look forward to offering a quality softball program with not only the five or six volunteers who offer their time to teach, coach and guide the girls through seven months of weekly training, practice and games, but with people such as yourselves, whose generosity could give the program the added extras that we believe boost moral, spirit and attendance.
