THE PAGEANT
When: Friday Aug. 27 at 7:00 PM during the Evangola State Park Annual Tomato Fest Aug. 27, 28, & 29.
Where: On the Entertainment Stage which will be located in picnic area #1 at Evangola.
Competition consists of: Campingwear competition, Beachwear competition, & Talent competition.
AWARDS
Miss Evangola: Girls 15 - 18 years old on day of competition.
Jr. Miss Evangola: Girls 11 - 14 years old on day of competition.
Little Miss Evangola: Girls 7 – 10 years old on day of competition.
REHEARSALS
There will be several rehearsals scheduled in late July and in August.
The girls will rehearse a pageant opening number as well as the competition portion of the pageant.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Miss Evangola, Jr. Miss, and Little Miss can ride in numerous Western New York parades
and in Erie County Fair daily parade on the Evangola float during their year long rein. They may
be called upon to give out information about the park and/or the pageant at various family events.
ACTIVITIES DURING TOMATO FESTIVAL
Tomato Contests: Best Dressed, Biggest, Eating & Sauce.
Crafts, Food, Beer Garden, Chinese Auction, Farmers Market, Inflatable Midway, Games
Live Music featuring Blue Roadhouse Fri., Bar King Spiders & Diva Show Band Sat.
Underground Stampede & Terry Buchwald Sun, 5-K Race Sun., Plus more to be announced.
Car / Motorcycle Show, Motorcycle Merchandise Vendors, & Miss Evangola Biker Contest Sat.
The completed application with a check or money order for $10 payable to (Natural Heritage Trust)
must be returned to Evangola State Park, Shaw Road, Irving, NY 14081 by July 28, 2010.
