11:30 am - 1:30 pm - Half-Century Luncheon

§ Honoring the Class of 1957. Join your Golden Anniversary Classmates for a luncheon. Special invitation to the classes prior to 1957. Free to the members of the Class of 1957, spouses and guests pay $12.00 per person. Multi-Purpose Room 212, Miller Campus Center.

§ Remembrance Service of SUNY Canton Alumni and Friends. See reservation form to purchase a memorial tree leaf for a loved one. Lobby, Miller Campus Center.

3:30 – 4:30 pm – Canino School of Engineering Technology’s Alternative & Renewable Energy Program

§ Assist Professor Michael Newtown will present on this cutting edge energy technology and what students will be studying that will augment or replace conventional energy systems. Nevaldine Hall.

3:30 – 5:00 pm – Afternoon Tea Mrs. Kennedy

§ Join Mrs. Kennedy for tea and snacks at the Alumni House. Shuttle service will be provided. Alumni House, 8 Stillman Drive, Canton, NY. Wear your hat if you please. *Not all areas are Handicapped accessible at this event.,

4:30- 6:00 pm – Beer & Soda Tasting

§ Sample some award-winning Saranac Beers and hand crafted soft drinks. Snacks will also be served. Free admission. Roselle Plaza, Miller Campus Center.

6:00- 10:00 pm – 2nd Annual Clam Bake & Chicken BBQ

§ Honoring the Class of 1982 –Back by popular demand…Fred and the Eds return to rock the night away, with entertaining music for all ages. Price is $25.00 per person. Roselle Plaza, Miller Campus Center.

10:00 am - ? – Alumni Golf Outing

12:00 – 2:00 pm - Cyber Café

§ Open and serving Starbucks coffee, Tazo teas, pastries, and sandwiches. Located in the Southworth Library. (Please note there is no scheduled lunch.)

1:00 pm – 2:00 pm – SUNY Canton: 100 Years Old!

§ Join Dr. Carli Schiffner, Chief of Staff, for some memories and reflections of the evolution of Canton. French Hall Conference Room.

1:00 pm – 3:00 pm – SUNY Canton Fear Factor

§ Join Marty Clark-Stone and test yourself with SUNY Canton’s Ropes Course Challenge, By Grasse River.

2:00 – 3:00 pm – Celebrating the Centennial Exhibit

§ A photographic timeline exhibit spanning the 100 years of the college’s history. French Hall

2:00 – 5:00 pm – Come Share Your Canton Memories

§ Be apart of SUNY Canton’s history! Dr. Carli Schiffner will capture your memories as part of an oral history project. Sign up at registration or at SUNY Canton: 100 Years Old presentation. French Hall Conference Room.

2:30 – 4:30 pm – Wine Tasting

§ Tom DeRosa, owner of First Crush Bistro, Potsdam, will introduce you to a variety of fine wines from California to New York. First Crush Bistro features 25 varieties of wine. We will also be serving some of the North Country’s award winning cheeses. Free Admission. Miller Campus Center.

3:00 – 5:00 pm – Delta Kappa Sigma Corporate Board Meeting

5:00 – 6:00 pm – President’s Reception & Class Photos

§ Enjoy cocktails and hors d’ oeuvres while Class and Greek photos are taken.Talk with cast members in character before the Murder Mystery Dinner. Chaney Dinning Center.

6:00 – 9:00 pm – Murder Mystery Dinner

§ A SUNY Canton Mystery – New this year a Murder Mystery Dinner. Set in the 1930’s, Dick Tracy style, the Mystery Co. of the Finger Lakes, Ltd., will present a mystery in which a character will be “murdered”! This all takes place during cocktails and dinner. You and your table mates will sort out the clues and solve the murder. Please feel free to dress in 1920-1930’s fashions for our Saturday evening dinner. Price is $35.00 (Includes President’s Reception).
