Use Interstate 95 and take Exit 89, follow Route 155 to Havre de Grace. Proceed straight under the railroad bridge; make a right at Juniata St. Follow it to the 1st light and make a left onto Otsego St., bear right under the Railroad Bridge onto Union Ave and follow straight to the end and make a left onto Commerce Street. PRESENTED BY: Soroptimist International of Havre de Grace to benefit scholarships and community service projects.
ENTRANCE FEE:
$125.00 includes 10 feet of space for three days (10'wide x10'deep). Vendors must occupy their own reserved space and respect the space which belongs to others. You may purchase more than one space at the same cost for a 10 by 10 each. No charge for students age 18 and under (eligible for student award) must verify age by including a copy of their birth certificate. College Art Majors fee is $75 with a copy of transcripts. A $25 fee will be charged for any returned checks.
DEADLINE date is April 15, 2015. Anyone registering after April 15th will pay a fee of $225.00 per space – NO EXCEPTIONS.
AWARDS: Monetary and/or Ribbon Awards Totaling Over $1500.
APPLICATIONS:
Must include 3 current photos of work labeled with name & address (or e-mail to ), a self-addressed stamped #10 (business) envelope or larger with $2.00 postage (for return & confirmation), Maryland Sales Tax information, full description of media, signature and check for full amount made payable to: Havre de Grace Art Show. CONFIRMATION OF ACCEPTANCE WILL BE RETURNED WITHIN 30 DAYS OF APPLICATION DEADLINE; THOSE
NOT ACCEPTED WILL HAVE THEIR APPLICATION AND FEE RETURNED
Refunds will be given to exhibitors who withdraw prior to May 15, 2015. A $10 handling fee will be deducted. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN AFTER MAY 15, 2015. Checks for refunds/cancellations will be issued within 30 DAYS AFTER THE END OF THE ART SHOW.
SHOW RULES: Open to all artists and craftsmen.
• ORGINAL WORK ONLY (OR LIMITED EDITIONS PRODUCED FROM THESE ORIGINALS) IN ANY MEDIA BY THE EXHIBITOR. NO WHOLESALE OR RESALE ALLOWED. VIOLATION OF THIS AGREEMENT WILL RESULT IN EXPULSION.
• AWARDS: Original Art (No Reproductions) will be eligible for judging. Exhibitors must be present to receive awards
.
• SALES TAX: No commissions will be levied. Sales tax is applicable and the responsibility of the exhibitor. Contact the MD Retail Sales Tax
Office direct for permit.
• SET UP: Friday, August 14th 7 am and must be completed by 2 pm. No dismantling prior to 5 pm Sunday. Loading & unloading will be the exhibitor’s responsibility. Display materials not supplied. Exhibitors will need to provide lighting for their booth Friday evening. Space numbers available beginning 7 am on Friday, August 14.
• PARK security available both nights. Materials and goods left at an exhibitor’s own risk.
• No vans, trucks, or cars will be permitted on park grounds during show hours.
• No alcoholic beverages permitted.
• No pets allowed
