Achievements:

·  Negotiated vendor buying agreement with Octo buying group

·  Secured Rona Quebec as a new account worth over $300,000 in the first year.

·  Attained exclusivity for Rona nationally with a three year contract worth $500,000 annually.

·  Secured new product listings at Home Depot Canada & U.S., Reno-Depot and Rona worth over $1,000,000 annually.

Responsible for the attainment of sales and margin targets and negotiations with existing and potential suppliers. Provided forecasts for sales and margins for Business Plan. Direct reports included three Account Managers and a Technical Sales and Service Representative. Indirect reports include four branch managers and a Product Manager. Made presentations to key accounts such as Costco and Wal-Mart.

Achievements:

·  Surpassed 2000 budget by 9%.

·  Developed customer loyalty program and sales contest. Both helped increase sales by 37% and added 82 new accounts in 2000.

·  Organized national and regional sales meetings.

·  Identified gaps in sales representation in three regions and hired three account managers.

·  Identified need and hired product manager.

Achievements:

·  Opened up Costco as new account in Canada and US. Successfully listed six items, which generated sales of over $1,000,000 in 1997.

·  Increased Sales to Home Depot from $100,000 to over $3 million in 1998 by: increasing the number of listings of products in all regions, and negotiating national advertising to promote high-end woodworking tools.

·  Established new account with Lowe’s Company Inc by listing products that generated 1998 sales of over $260,000.

·  Built new account with Decatur Hopkins into a full-line customer that brought in sales of over $250,000 in 1998.
