Brief Details :
This is the 38th running of the AXA 5, an inter-company 5.5 mile (approx) road race, run over quiet roads, under ARC rules. Permit no ARC xx/xxx.
Although primarily designed as a team race for groups of four or more, individuals are also welcome to enter

Facilities :
Free parking on site and also at Clifton Rugby Club, limited on road parking, please car share
~ showers ~ changing rooms ~ baggage store ~ First Aid cover ~ bar and refreshments.
Entry fees :
Ø Entry fee £7 for UKA/ARC affiliated athletes / £9 unaffiliated
Closing date for entries is Thursday 4th September 2014,
although entries may be accepted on the day provided the entry limit has not been reached. Entries on the day plus £1.

Ø Race packs & numbers will be sent out 1-2 weeks before the event.
Race details :
Race starts and finishes at the Lawns Sports Ground. It follows Station Road north, turn left into Hollywood Lane, follow road into Berwick Lane, turn left into Hallen Road, left again into Station road, and return to Lawns Sports ground.
iPods/ MP3/Personal music: Forbidden to be used by all runners during the race
Prizes/medals will be awarded in at least the following categories:
Ø Male: 1st, 2nd, 3rd company team. 1st 3 finishers, 1st Vet 40, 1st Vet 50
Ø Female: 1st, 2nd, 3rd company team. 1st 3 finishers, 1st Vet 40, 1st Vet 50

This year supporting
At least £2 of the entry fee will be donated to Cancer Research UK, who pioneer life-saving research to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured.
