5:30 PM - SPECIAL VILLAGE BOARD MEETING – APRIL 21, 2017
MEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor Kurt Wheeler, Trustee Amy Mann, Trustee Fritz Koennecke, Trustee Maureen Fellows
ALSO PRESENT: Jim Stokes
Mayor Kurt Wheeler opened the meeting at 5:40 pm.
Attorney Stokes reviewed the provisions of the Contractor’s Agreement with the parties constructing the Cazenovia Market Project.
Upon a motion by Mayor Wheeler and seconded by Trustee Mann, the Board approved the following resolution:
RESOLUTION # 59 – BE IT RESOLVED, that the Village of Cazenovia through its governing body, the Board of Trustees, hereby approves the Construction Guarantee Agreement and the amount of the security of $475,000.00 and authorizes the Mayor to execute the Construction Guarantee Agreement.
By vote of the Board – Mayor Kurt Wheeler – aye, Trustee Amy Mann – aye, Trustee Fritz Koennecke – aye, Trustee Maureen Fellows – aye.
Four in favor. Approved.
The Board had a brief discussion on having a food truck at the Farmer’s Market. Mayor Wheeler will reply to Aileen Randolph, Lori Lewis and the Chamber of Commerce that the Village will support with the Chamber’s request.
The Board had a brief discussion on the Colligan property located at the corner of Albany St. and Farnham St.
Upon a motion by Mayor Wheeler and seconded by Trustee Mann, the Board approved the following resolution by a vote of 4-0:
RESOLUTION # 60 – BE IT RESOLVED, that the Village of Cazenovia through its governing body, the Board of Trustees, hereby authorizes the expenditure of up to $3,000.00 for a commercial appraisal of the Colligan property located on the corner of Albany St. and Farnham St.
Motion made by Mayor Wheeler and seconded by Trustee Mann to pass the following resolution by a vote of 4-0.
Motion made by Mayor Wheeler and seconded by Trustee Porter to adjourn the meeting at 6:00 p.m. All aye. Approved. Meeting adjourned at 6:00 p.m.
