10/14/17-10/18/17 … We were recently on vacation at Okaloosa Island. It is a wonderful area with a beautiful beach and excellent restaurants. We enjoyed taking walks on the beach, playing in the water and watching the sunset.
Our Island Echo Condo was clean, comfortable and attractively decorated. My husband and I especially enjoyed the balcony and the beautiful view of the beach and ocean. We even got to see some dolphins swim by.
We have had many enjoyable vacations on Okaloosa Island and I am sure we will return. We would be happy to rent this unit again. - B Beazle

My family and I had a great time staying at Island Echos. It's right on the beach so we had a great view. I loved the heated pool, and the facilities were nice. We stayed in 2G and there was plenty of room for my family in the condo. We were comfortable there (clean, spacious, comfy beds, complete kitchen, etc.), and we plan to be back. Okaloosa Island has a great vibe for families, and Island Echos will be our choice every year! - L Burkett

This is my first stay at Island Echos, but one of many with Discount Vacation Properties (also called Sky Ventures). Rick Powers operates his business with amazing integrity! I have stayed in six of his condos located at three properties over a 10 year period, and I have never been disappointed! I have called or texted Rick a few times for small issues or questions, and he has responded within 5 minutes each time! This was at Island Echos 2G, and the place was warm and cozy! (It's winter, you know!) Well stocked kitchen, nice linens/towels, and even a few amenities not promised in the paperwork. Island Echoes has a great laundry area, and a very welcoming community. The beach is right in your face! Great sunning area as well. I highly recommend Discount Vacation Properties (Sky Ventures) and Rick Powers as a great property manager! You will not go wrong with him! - Williams

4/27/17-5/4/17 …Beach is fantastic! Great front view! Area not as busy as Destin, but still only minutes away from anything you may want to do. Condo could use a few basic updates, but nothing we couldn't deal with. The toilet wouldn't flush correctly when we arrived, but contacted Sky and he had if fixed in about two hours. - D Vangennip

Had a wonderful escape to the beautiful Emerald Waters! Ms. Dillon sent us everything we needed to make the transition in and out a breeze. The condo is placed perfectly - close to an elevator and the breezeway to the beach. The beach was beautiful with super white sands (bring your sunglasses) and emerald waters. So fantastic!
10/4/13 …I visited 9/19 - 9/26/2013. I was traveling for business. It was nice to be able to have food in the unit and not have to eat out. It rained but the covered porch was wonderful and I fixed supper and enjoyed it on the porch. It was a great location that allowed me to travel to Panama city, Destin and Pensacola for work and still be able to get back in time for a beach walk or just to relax on the porch. The unit and the complex were clean. The lobby of the complex was freshly painted. There were a lot of carts for luggage or groceries. The location was excellent. The beach was beautiful. - Cynda
6/23/13 …Our family stayed at Island Echos 2G earlier this month and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The size of the condo was perfect for a family of six, the view was fantastic, access to the beach was perfect and the drive to Destin was about 10 minutes. We will definitely visit again. - Lauri T

9/9/08 …We were evacuating from Hurricane Gustav and could not find a place to stay when we received a phone call from SkyVentures to tell us that there was a unit availalbe. We are so thankful that Rick called us back and we just loved the unit at Island Echoes. The view was beautiful, the unit very comfortable and the people so friendly! I highly recommend SkyVentures and we are planning on going back and this time won't be to evacuate! -G O'Brien
6/24/08 …We had a great time. The room was very clean and had all the amenities that we needed. The beach was a 5 second walk from the condo and the sand was beautiful. Plus, the beach was very calm and not crowded at all. Having internet access at the condo was also very helpful. The place and the price were awesome and we will definitely be back. - S Petcovic
6/17/08 …Beautiful view, Ft. Walton Beach is less cramped than Destin. The beach is a 10 second walk from the condo! Everthing you need is there, and our dog, Soldier, loved it. Look forward to coming back! - Robert

My family and I were very pleased with this years vacation and will definately return. The beaches were very private and never crowded unlike some we have been to. 5/29/08 …We had a wonderful time, right on the beach, just high enough to see over the dunes to the surf. We forgot to pickup our beach towel the last day but the beach-service person, Brett, put it on the rail for us. Thanks, Brett.
Our dog, Rocky, eventually got used to the pet walk area at the side of the building, and we appreciated that.Island Echoes is close to Tom Thumb and Publix so we could stock up without having to leave a lot of food.We were three adults and Rocky and all of us are quite pleased about the time we had. - f himelwright
5/25/08 … I stayed at Island Echo II with my two grandchildren during our spring break April 12th - 19th. We had a wonderful time. The condo was spacious and nicely decorated. I enjoyed the balcony looking out on the beach both for the beautiful view and the ability to keep an eye on the children. Much to my surprise they spent many hours playing shuffle board. They enjoyed the game and beating their grandmother. The pool was heated which allowed us to use it even on chilly days. The three of us had a wonderful time building sand castles on the beach, looking for sea shells, playing sHuffle board and swimming in the pool. From our balcony, we saw dolphins playing. There were other children there as well and my grandchildren had others to play with. It was truly a restfull and fun vacation. This is our second spring break we have spent on Okaloosa Island and I am sure we will return. –Barbara, Dalton, GA
3/23/08 …What a great Spring Break! It was our children's (6,7) 1st trip to the beach! The condo's proximity to the sand and pool was perfect for building independence! The kitchen was well stocked with a blender and plastic cups for the beach or poolside! The view was fabulous, even though we only saw a couple of dolphins. If you have a family and pets, then this is the condo for you. The laundry facilities were convenient and the grounds were clean. An added bonus of sand toys, chairs and an umberlla are included! 10/28/07 …We had a wonderful vacation at the Island Echoes 2G Condo. The location in Fort Walton Beach was a great location for us. It is a little more laid back than right in Destin. 10/5/07 …We truly enjoyed our stay on Okaloosa Island. The condo (Island Echos) was very nice and made our stay very comfortable and enjoyable. The view from the balcony was awesome. We saw more dolphins this year than ever and we've been going to Florida every year for many years. Sky Ventures was very helpful to us in getting all the details for the condo worked out quickly and easily. Okaloosa Island is a great vacation place. We like to go in Sept. 4/30/07 …My two grandchildren and I stayed in this condo from April 14-21. We had a wonderful time. The condo is very comfortable and tastefully decorated. The kids loved the choice of beds in their room. The ones with the best view of the TV won out.
The view from the living room is spectacular. Everywhere you look you see the ocean and the beach. It was so peaceful and relaxing. We had the added pleasure of watching dolphins from the balcony on three separate monrings. We had a wonderful vacation playing in the ocean, building castles in the sand and swimming in the pool. It was a vacation I hope to repeat next year.-Barbara B

"Thank you so much. We enjoyed our stay in your condo tremendously. We have been coming to the Gulf every summer for the last 12 years or so and we really enjoyed ourselves this time. We love being right on the beach and the boys really liked having the pool so close to the room. We also went over and spent a morning on the bay catching hermit crabs and swiming in the bay. Bonus having Tom Thumb store so close, you always forget something. We look forward to coming again next year."

guest city-state/province: Dahlonega, GAEnjoyed our stay in #205. The view is great. Place is done in a beach mode, cause that's where you are. You could throw a stone and come close to the water. If we were to go to this area again, I would rent this unit again.
