This promises to be a race for the ages, with two confirmed starters from Australia and each of them last start international Group One winners. However, their styles are in complete contrast, with BUFFERING a brave, make-all kind of sprinter who loves to do it tough. His adoring fans would say, the tougher the better. CHAUTAUQUA is a rarity among top-class sprinters --- a horse who comes from a long way back --- usually absolute last until well inside the final 400m when he lets go with a paralyzing final burst. Hong Kong’s PENIAPHOBIA is versatile in that he can lead if connections want to (as he did in the Hong Kong Sprint in December), or he can defer to BUFFERING in the initial stages.
