HUD’s Office of Public & Indian Housing hosts Listening Sessions in an effortto revitalize core business functions for the Public Housing and Housing Choice Voucher Programs. The first two sessions of this full-day forum will address the Public Housing Assessment System (PHAS) and the Section 8 Management Assessment Program (SEMAP). The proposed SEPHAS assessment system will also be reviewed, with scoring indicators that would reduce reliance on PHA self-certifications and would be based on measurable program outcomes from available HUD data. Performance would focus on key indicators such as occupancy, financial and physical assessments. Come prepared to listen, learn and let your voice be heard!
