2.  Champions Cross mentoring program – The 2015 Captains cross mentoring workshop will take place on October 8 and 9 in Winnipeg. For more info http://bit.ly/1L0AnU8

3.  Captains workshops -The MHSAA with support from the IMPACT Team, will be holding Team Captains workshops on October 15 in Brandon at McDiarmid Drive Alliance Church, right across from Vincent Massey,and October 16 in Winnipeg at the Shrine Center. Plan to attend.Registration, which includes lunch and t-shirt is $25.00 per student. No charge for coaches. Keith Nord will be back once again to spend time with the student leaders. 5.  Game Results- A reminder that all league results must be entered onto the MHSAA website by the home team,by noon of the day after the game is played. Tournaments results must be posted by Monday at noon following the event.

8.  Great Plains Volleyball Coaching Clinic – Friday, September 18 - Investors Group Athletic Centre (UofM) Register now for the 3rd AnnualGreat Plains Volleyball Coaching Clinic: Presented by Volleyball Manitoba and the University of Manitoba, and in cooperation with Volleyball Canada, Sport Manitoba, Coaching Manitoba. This clinic is designed for all coaches as you prepare for your junior high / high school seasons.

9.  Annual BU Volleyball Coaches Summit Thursday, September 17 – Brandon University

The summit’s feature coach is Scott Koskie – Volleyball Manitoba’s High Performance Coach and a former Assistant Coach with the Canada’s women’s national team. As a player, Scott was a member of Canada’s men’s national team for 14 years and is a graduate of the University of Manitoba where he played for the Bisons volleyball team, capturing two CIS national championships. Other presenters include BU coaches Lee Carter and Grant Wilson as well as BU assistant coaches Lisa Whyte (Western Canada Summer Games Manitoba Assistant Coach) and Shane Smith (former University of Winnipeg assistant coach, former John Taylor varsity girls coach).

10.  Novice Volleyball Referee Clinics

The Novice Referee Clinics are designed as an introduction to volleyball officiating and developed for students who are interested in refereeing at the Junior High level, or as a scorer or linesperson at the High School level.
