5.Must be admitted to Tarleton Practicum in Teaching

An additional application for Teacher Education Program is required after admission to Tarleton State University. You will complete this additional application during your first semester at Tarleton State University.

Fall entry:Students who enter the program in a Fall semester will attend class during the Day. The schedule is typically two days a week (either a MW or TTH) during normal work hours.

Spring entry:Students who enter the program in a Spring semester will attend class at Night. The schedule is typically three nights a week after work hours, with the semester before student teaching possibly four nights a week. Exception: Math classes are not offered in the evening, they are typically offered late afternoon, before the evening classes start time.
