license problem. It says, "the license hashen the error first comes up, choose the option to
become invalid. Please repair."Repair. It will then fix the problem but a new
Application ID will be generated.
You must call the registration number
(1-888-363-3312) and give the Rep the letters and
numbers generated by the Repair. The Rep uses
the same key generator as the original entry into
the database.
From here you will get a new authorization code
that will allow the program to launch.

hit launch, it pauses, and then returns to the
Desktop.1) You don't want to have any empty drive
letters between your last hard-drive and the
CD-ROM drive. If C is your last hard-drive, be
sure D is the CD-ROM drive.
2) You may have real-mode dos drivers controlling your
CD-ROM (even if it is a brand new computer). These
files are found in the autoexec.bat and the
config.sys files. You must remark out these
drivers and have them replaced by Win95 specific
drivers. The best thing to do here is to call the
manufacturer of the computer and have them confirm
this for you. If these drivers are located in
either your autoexec.bat or config.sys, then they
are Real-Mode DOS drivers, they must be
replaced.
3) If you have Win95 specific drivers and are still
getting the error, please download a patch file:

Download and launch the file (if you have Internet
Explorer, right click on the file(s), and choose

Older versions were not tested, but we have not
heard of any problems at this point.

Once downloaded (if you have Internet Explorer,
right click on the file(s), and choose "Copy to
Folder"), launch the file (or open it directly from
the FTP site).

DOS drivers) for your hardware, and that your
hardware is Win95 compatible.

am having trouble launching my AutoCADhis is caused by another application running that is

background that does not show up in your System
Tray. To solve this, get back to your Windows
Desktop. Then hit CTRL+ALT+DEL all at the same
time. A "Close Program" dialog box will appear.
For each item in the list, highlight it and hit
"End Task", some you may have to hit twice.
Repeat this process for all items EXCEPT
"Explorer" and "Systray", if you close these, you
will crash the computer.
Once they have all been disabled, relaunch the
Portfolio program.
If all else fails, boot your PC into Safe Mode.
Then enter the Portfolio and unlock your software.
Then reboot back into regular mode and launch the
following file to start the LT installation:
x:\aclt\setup.exe (where X is your CD-ROM
drive).
