By TAXI

You can get a taxi at the arrivals or departure areas. You will be charged an additional fee for the luggage. Ask for the invoice to make sure they will not charge you more than due. It should be around 10-15€. (you can also ask for a voucher at the tourism desk in the arrivals area). Check the rates in the rear window of the cab.

MEALS

There will be coffee breaks during the meeting and we invite all participants for an official dinner on Tuesday evening and for lunch during the field trip. If you have any meal constrains, please inform us when making the registration. Other meals are not included in the meeting arrangements - there are several cafés and restaurants near by and you can also use the meeting venue facilities.

Field Trip

The Field Trip on the 30th April will be to the Companhia das Lezírias/Benavente, one hour distance from the city centre. Departure will be at 9h in the Hotel Tiara and foreseen return to Lisbon (Airport) at 17h. We will walk a little, but not much, on a landscape almost flat, sometimes sandy, so comfortable shoes are recommended, but no need for trekking or special shoes.

Participants are kindly requested to take care of their hotel booking. Indicative list of hotels is annexed to this information, all located very near the meeting venue.

Weather

In this time of the year, you can expect temperatures around 20ºC (max.) and 14ºC (min.). Some showers are also possible. Check the weather forecast, in any case.
