PROFESSIONAL GOALS

Obtain a secondary teaching position in Earth Science and Biology in an environment where I can continue developing as a teacher and work collaboratively with other faculty. As a teacher, my goals are to teach the curriculum effectively and motivate students’ learning inside and outside of the classroom. I would like to be involved in coaching cross country or track, working with a student council, and/or a Science Olympiad team.

I ran cross-country and track at DonderoHigh School; I was elected captain of the cross-country team during my senior year. I was extremely involved in the Student Senate, chairing and working on committees. During my junior and senior year I was a member of the Girls Forestry Club that worked to help the environment and raise money for charity. I would like tobecome involved in coaching or advising the following extracurricular activities: Cross-country, track,student council, any type of environmental club, and/orScience Olympiad.
