Implements change involving reorganizing shelves and assigning new prices, including special features throughout the store.
There is great potential here for project management. Changes can be smoother; old merchandise can be cycled out and replaced with new merchandise. Local features could be more coordinated with sales and environment rather then inventory.
Doug Ayerst is the store manager and probably wouldn’t know me from Adam. The modular team trainer is Terry Lynn. The nighttime supervisors are Jason and Billy (the difficulties of working on a first name basis with everybody!) Circumstances required that I be a stay-at-home dad during this time. I did volunteer work at my daughter's sixth grade class, mostly correcting math homework and assisting students in math. I also helped as necessary with computer use (helping the teacher set up shortcuts to her class's network folders, tutoring students on how to use Microsoft Office effectively, limited troubleshooting, etc.). My accomplishment was being involved in my daughter's activities up to her moving to Kennesaw, Georgia to live with her mother. On my own, I have studied Javascript, Java, and project management.

Information Analyst
Worked as an inspector verifying software would work in the Naval Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) environment. Tested and resolved problems as necessary on the customer's machines and tracked problems/corrections with the customer, the San Diego Help Desk, and back to staging/deployment to prevent reoccurrence. Created a process to reduce testing time by 2/3.
Worked on the project for 7 years, first as a programmer, then as a team manager/database administrator for a GM manufacturing system that tracked truck design/development. Also maintained a web using JavaScript to track project activities. Assisted in the conversion to its web based replacement on an Oracle platform.
