Research Topic: Phytochemical and Pharmacological Studies on Bryophyllum pinnatum (Lam.) Kurz.

Research Highlights: My research work was to standardized Bryophyllum pinnatum as per API guidelines. Isolate biological phyto-constituents. Screening of pharmacological activities- in vitro antioxidant and antibacterial and in vivo antiulcer activity.

Research Topic: Evaluation of Plants with Insecticidal Properties for use as Antilice formulation.

Research Highlights: Microscopy of Annona squamosa Linn., Datura metel Linn., Vitex negundo Linn. leaf to evaluate the purity of crude drug. Phytochemical fingerprint developed were used to evaluate regional variations in the raw material quality using TLC.Leaves were analyzed for major heavy metals using ICP-OES method.Efficacy study of leaf powders of Annona squamosa Linn., Datura metel Linn., Vitex negundo Linn. and their combination on Pediculus humanus.
