Has been defined as the collective ecology of the world’s media including newspapers, journals, television, radio, books, novels, advertising, press releases, publicity and the blogosphere; any and all media both broadcast and published.

Arts and entertainment in Australia has had a very long and successful innings and still continues to be internationally popular for generating quality entertainment. Being one of the remotest and the most far-flung continent on the earth's surface, Australia has a distinct culture, which is aptly reflected in the arts and entertainment in Australia. This is one of the chief reasons, which has contributed to the success of the Australian arts and entertainment industry. The distinct feature of Australian arts and entertainment has helped establish this industry as one of the leading contributors in the field of Australian export and also build a profit-earning relation with the US, Europe and UK.
The last decade has especially proved to be very profitable for the Australian arts and entertainment industry because it had witnessed the highest amount of export of Australian art and entertainment in world markets, especially Asia. In the year ending 2005-06, it was estimated that a total of $301,000,000 of export deals were conducted through no less than 459 new contracts. Music sales has also surcharged by $100 millions and given music export an impetus of 50%. This groundbreaking achievement has been achieved in all fields of art and entertainment like music, decorative arts, publishing, films and indigenous arts. The Asian market is the latest addition in the export market for all Australian arts and entertainment related trade. The major Asian markets are China, Hong Kong, Singapore and Taiwan.
There are several government associations in Australia, who regulate the Australian arts and entertainment industry. Some such organizations are; Australian Council for the Arts, Australian Film Finance Corporation Ltd, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, State Government Arts Sites, the Australian Film Commission and the Department of Communications, Information Technology. The Australian Film Commission operates as a part of the Australian government and looks after the development of content for Australian film, television and interactive media. It also contributes in detailed analysis of data from film archives and uses them to develop the industry. Another organization by the name of the Australian Independent Records Labels Association is a non-profit organization that works in tandem with the government so as to initiate deals that would benefit the music industry of Australia and also regulates a free and fair market.
In the arts and entertainment field, Australia has a separate distinction in the shape of the opera, most well represented through the Sydney Opera House. Detailed information regarding the present condition and working of the Australian opera can be availed through many of the present opera associations across the country. Out of these, one of the most noted is the Queensland Independent Opera and Song Company, which is operating since 1994 and has delivered a string of praiseworthy concerts. Day 2- Pray for Honesty and Integrity in Media and Entertainment
Psalm 41:11-13 - By this I know that you delight in me: my enemy will not shout in triumph over me. But you have upheld me because of my integrity, and set me in your presence forever. Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting! Amen and Amen.

Day 3 - Pray for humility in Media and Entertainment
Philippians 2:3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves.
Day 4- Pray that God remove all deceit and lies from the Media and Entertainment
Psalm 31:18 Let their lying lips be silenced, for with pride and contempt they speak arrogantly against the righteous.
Day 5- When Godly People Do Ungodly Thing in Media and Entertainment
“Charles Spurgeon's words: “You may conceal your infirmity, even from your dearest friend, but you will not conceal it from your worst enemy.”
Jude 1:15 “to judge everyone, and to convict all of them of all the ungodly acts they have committed in their ungodliness, and of all the defiant words ungodly sinners have spoken against him."
Day 6- Disobedience in Media
1 Samuel 13:14 "But now your kingdom shall not endure The LORD has sought out for Himself a man after His own heart, and the LORD has appointed him as ruler over His people, because you have not kept what the LORD commanded you."
Day 7- Prayer Against Pornography
Lord, technology has helped the world in many ways, but it has also proven to be a snare into sin through the lure of pornography. We ask a hedge of protection against this temptation that has the power to damage families and scar the spirit of both the one who views pornography and those who love those caught up in this trap. Help keep our minds on You in such a powerful way that pornography holds no allure. Give us the wisdom to remove temptations that we cannot resist, and to always keep You first in our hearts and minds. Amen
Day 8- Pray against the spirit of Adultery in Media and Entertainment
Deuteronomy 28:15 "But it shall come about, if you do not obey the LORD your God, to observe to do all His commandments and His statutes with which I charge you today, that all these curses will come upon you and overtake you”
Day 9- Pray against pride in the sphere of Media and Entertainment
The Bible says; "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge:" (Hosea 4:6). A Christian is responsible to know what God's word says. His word is what sanctifies us (John 17:17). A born again Christian who dwells on God's word will have a hunger and thirst for it and they will be grieved by these ungodly things, and will no longer desire them.
Day 10- The Lord is the author of all Media
Isaiah 41:15 “For I am the LORD your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.”
2 Tim 3:16 “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness”
Day 11- Prayer for Purity
A Prayer for Purity
In this world where inappropriate images and behavior are all around us, it can be more difficult than ever to remain pure. But for Your children, God, for those who choose You, there is no other choice but to live a life of purity. Help us all to keep the commitments that we have made to You. Help us to stay pure for that one special person that will one day be our husband or wife. Day 12- Indoctrination
Indoctrination and evil movies on TV and cinemas. God wants us to dwell on only good things; "Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things" (Philippians 4:8)
Day 13- Pray against “Medium or Occult” shows on TV
" They did not destroy the nations, concerning whom the LORD commanded them: But were mingled among the heathen, and learned their works. And they served their idols: which were a snare unto them. Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils, And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood. Thus were they defiled with their own works, and went a whoring with their own inventions. Therefore was the wrath of the LORD kindled against his people, insomuch that he abhorred his own inheritance. And he gave them into the hand of the heathen; and they that hated them ruled over them" (Psalm 106:34-41).
Day 14- Pray against nudity on TV and Social Media
Exodus 28:42 - And thou shalt make them linen breeches to cover their nakedness; from the loins even unto the thighs they shall reach:
Genesis 2:25 - And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.
1 Timothy 2:9 - In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;
Day 15- Pray that those shaping media coverage will report both the good news and the Good News.
Isaiah 52:7 “How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, "Your God reigns!"
Day 16- Denounce information that is reported through the lens of evil in Media
Romans 10:15 “And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!"
Day 17- Call for the voices of righteousness and truth that have not been heard.
Just as Ezekiel called forth life from a dead environment, we must call out those whom God has appointed to declare His character upon a mountain that has been ruled by the forces of evil. Remember, whoever controls the language controls the culture.

Day 18- Pray that God is honoured in the sphere of Media and Entertainment
1 Corinthians 10:31 Whether, then, you eat or drink or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.
Day 19- Pray that the Sphere of Media and Entertainment will godly lifestyles, behaviours and values.
1 Corinthians 6:20 For you have been bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body.
Day 20: Renounce corruption, crime, cults within this Sphere
1 Samuel 2:30 "Therefore the LORD God of Israel declares, 'I did indeed say that your house and the house of your father should walk before Me forever'; but now the LORD declares, 'Far be it from Me--for those who honor Me I will honor, and those who despise Me will be lightly esteemed.
Day 21- Pray that believers who are called to this sphere will be blessed and protected by God and His angels.
Read Psalm 91 for their protection
Day 22- Pray that every Media and Entertainment place across Australia will overcome darkness with the Light.
John Chapter 1 and reflect on this passage
Day 23- Pray that this sphere will produce talented people who has godly lifestyles, behaviours and values.
Worldly values include wealth, power, pleasure, revenge, fame, vanity and status. These are the most important things to people who perceive no power or purpose beyond themselves. Worldly values promote jealousies, resentments and conflicts among people in accordance with the purposes of Satan (John 8:44, Acts 5:3, Romans 16:17-20, 2 Corinthians 4:4, Ephesians 2:1-3, 4:25-32, 2 Timothy 2:22-26, 1 John 3:8-10).
The values taught in the Bible are often the opposite of worldly values: kindness and respect for all people instead of power; humility instead of status; honesty and generosity instead of wealth; self-control instead of self-indulgence; forgiveness instead of revenge. Christian values promote peace and good will among people in accordance with the purposes of God.
