To belong to our vibrant club you need to tick at least one boxnext to a specific role or area you are able to contribute to.

Any role you take on will be supported by the Executive Committee.

MANAGEMENT AND ADMINISTRATION

Minutes Secretary: Need to attend 2 hourly Committee Meetings Every 6 weeks or an average of 8 meetings yearly.
Administrator: Need 1 hour Weekly including 10 minutes weekly phone briefing with President. Attendance to Executive Committee not required all the time.
Assistant Treasurer (or) Club Bookkeeper:Bookkeeping and Invoicing. Need an average of 1 hour a week during Pre-
Season and 6-8 weekly meeting with Finance Sub Committee.
Sponsorship:The art of “selling” the Club to various organisations including schools and potential sponsors and obtaining grants from Government and non-Government departments. 6-8 Weekly meeting with President and other delegated Committee members. Results more important than how many hours you put in.

COACHING AND TEAM MANAGEMENT (TEAM OFFICIALS)

Head Coach:Mustimplement the Club’s Football Curriculum, be patient with children and have a passion for the game. All Coaches need to attend an Induction Session and a practical Workshop before training starts in March. Weekly commitment is as follows: Once a week training under 6 to under 10 or twice a week under 12 and above.
Assistant Coach:Assists Head Coach and is part of the Coaching group. (Same requirements as above)
Team Manager:Holds the various groups of families together, liaise with Executive Committee and take a leading role during fundraisers with the Coaching group.
Match Day Reporter:Watches and writes a positive summary of his/her team every week (Up to 10 lines) and email it to delegated Club Official for Club distribution in the weekly Season Update.

CLUB FUNDRAISERS

Bunnings (or)Other Sausage Sizzle Fundraisers:This is the minimum requirement for every parent to meet. (2 hours twice a year cooking, preparing rolls and selling sausages).
Club Fundraisers:If you can assist with various activities on a volunteer basis. You may need to attend a short meeting prior to the event and be there the whole evening from 6.30pm to 10pm. (A) In the Kitchen serving guests; (B) Selling Meal tickets; (C) Selling Raffles; (D) Hall Set Up (2 Hours); (E) Assisting with Stage Management;(F) MC on the night (3 hours).
Prize Seekers:The Club donates prizes during its Quiz Nights and Dinner Dance. If you have the talent and drive to collect prizes or “freebies” from various organisations this job is yours. You will be working with Club Secretariat Administrator or Fundraising team. (3 meetings of 1.5 hours required - Results are more important than how much time you spend in achieving the necessary outcomes).

ASSETS MANAGERS

Uniform Manager:Works with designated Committee member or admin personnel in conducting stocktake prior to the start of the season and end of the season. Distributes all strips to Team Managers at the Club Season Launch andensures all strips are collected after the team’s last fixture of the season. Main work is during pre-season and end of season. Average of 4 hours prior and after these 2 events.
Football Equipment Manager:Works with Treasurer and Secretary or admin personnel in conducting stocktake at thebeginning and end of the season. 4 hours each session. Also conducts a mid-season audit of Club Football Equipment with all Coaches or on request from Executive Committee.

Club by Law RULE 25 - Code of Conduct for Players:

  • Players will train ONCE A WEEK at the designated times where they are part of an Under 6 to under 10 team.

  • Players will train TWICE A WEEK at the designated times where they are part of an Under 12 and above team.

  • Players will provide their Coaches with a reasonable excuse if they are unable to attend their training sessions or on
match days.
  • Players will be punctual and be prepared for matches and training sessions as follows:
Under 6 to Under 10: 5 minutes before start of training & 30 minutes before Kick Off
Under 12 to Under 18: 5 minutes before start of training & at least 45 minutes before Kick Off
  • Players will not use foul or abusive language - before, during or after a game or training session.

  • Players will attend training and matches wearing Club appropriate clothing and/or Club Jackets.

  • Players will wear shin guards at training and on match days at all times.

  • Players shall not publicly vilify, whether face to face or viaany social media (i.e. Facebook), any player/member of the Club..

Club by Law RULE 26 - Code of Conduct for Parents/Guardians:

  • I will ensure my child/children train ONCE A WEEK at the designated times where they are part of an Under 6 to under 10 team.

  • I will ensure my child/children train TWICE A WEEK at the designated times where they are part of an Under 12 and above teams.

  • I will inform my child’s/children’s Coach AT LEAST 1 hour before training and AT LEAST 2 hours prior to start of the scheduled fixture if my child/ children is/are running late or not attending training or game.

  • I will pick up my child/children on time after his/her training sessions.

  • I will not use foul or abusive language at any time and will not criticise my child/children’s Coach openly.

  • I will support all the players in my children teams and refrain from criticising any player.

  • I will not publicly vilify any player, Club Officials or other members of the Club whether face to face or via social media.

  • I understand I & my children may be expelled from further participation without any refund of fees for breaching the registration and membership conditions as outlined in this Registration Form and in the Club By Laws 25 and 26.

CLUB LIABILITY DISCLAIMER AND REGISTRATION CONDITIONS

I/We the undersigned acknowledge and agree that I/We as parents/legal guardians participate and allow my/our child/children to participate in the sporting and social activities provided by the Club at my/our and their own risk.

I/We the undersigned acknowledge and agree that the Club, its officials, organisers and its affiliated associations shall not be held liable or responsible for any claims, damages or injury sustained whilst participating in the Club sporting and social activities.

I/We agree to abide with all directives, instructions and decisions made by the Club as delegated to the Executive Committee and Team Officials as contained in the Club’s constitution and Club By Laws.

I/We agree should my child fail to meet the training and match requirements; once a week in a small sided group and twice a week for the under 12 and above groups, I/we will forfeit the right to further participate in the club’s sporting activities with no obligation from the Club to refund me/us any fees paid.

1/We have read and understood the above Club By Law Rules 25 and 26 and agree to adhere to these rules unconditionally.
