3 Phase Classes—Will be divided depending on entries, including multiples

1st,, 2nd3rd overall placings in each class. Prize money/trophy—$20, $10$5 respectively

3 Phase Perpetual trophy—overall pony/horse for this event

The Event will be—Dressage, Marathon (approx 6–8km, 4–5 hazards)Cones.

Dressage Test ACDS Novice 1—80x40 m arena

Dress—sensible—shoes (eg no sandals or shorts). The ACDS new ruling on helmets in the marathon will apply—Driver groom must wear securely fastened protective head gear during the entire marathon. Juniors must wear securely fastened protective head gear when in a carriage at all times. Infringement will incur elimination. ACDS Ruling.

The courses will be open from Saturday. There will only be one inspection by motor vehicle. ACDS rules apply with some variations to facilitate the nature of the competition.

Free bush-style camping, toiletgas hot water shower. Yards available. No powered sites. Fridge available. Basic canteen facilities will be provided all weekend with a BBQ tea Saturday night (after competitors’ briefing) at a cost of $12, payable on the night by cash (no card facilities!), but please indicate on your entry form the number of meals required (for catering purposes only). Basic cooked Breakfast will also be available.

Saturday afternoon—inspect courses, camp fire social evening—competitors’ briefing on the eventabout 6.00pm.

Any suitable type of vehicle permitted. Single equine Ne 121cm—optional to have a groom. Over 121cm, singles & multiples, must carry a seated groom in both the Dressage & Cones. In the Marathon, the groom may stand. All vehicles must have reflectors at rear. Any vehicle measuring under 125cm wheel width cannot compete in this event. ACDS Ruling. Authorised motor vehicles only allowed on all courses.

All competitors compete at their own risk. The ACDSQld Branch, the ACDS Cooloola Carriage Club Inc., any property owners and event organizers will not accept any responsibility for loss or damage to horses, drivers, grooms, equipment, spectators or any other person or person’s property during the event; or to and from this event. In accordance with the requirements as set down in the ACDS Insurance Policy, anybodywho applies for an insurance claim from their participation in this event,agrees to pay the excess which may arise.

Introduction to 3 Phase Driving—3 phase was developed to give beginners and the experienced drivers a safe and friendly event to learn and practice their skills and as an introduction to the CDE Driving Events. Also it is an environment to nurture the training of would-be judges and train new stewards, organizers, in a slightly less formal atmosphere. If needing a caller in the dressage, the driver starts with 10 penalties. The caller must know the dressage test without reading same.

ALL DOGS MUST BE KEPT ON A LEASH AT ALL TIMES.
