Exceptions may be made for doctor or dental appointments or reasons excused by the Principal. (A doctor/dental note is required for this exemption).
  • If it is discovered that you are frequently tardy to class, disciplinary actions will be determined by coaching staff and carried out.
  • Student-Athletes must pass five courses the previous semester and be currently taking five courses to meet LCPS eligibility standards.

TEAM TRAVEL GUIDELINES

  • You are ONLY allowed to leave away games with a parent/legal guardian or someone you parent has authorized.
  • You are not allowed to leave away gameswithout informing the head coaches
  • On the Bus, be considerate and respectful of your teammates.
  • Players are to be properly dressed when on the Bus.
  • Bring all necessary equipment – personal and team equipment. Each trip, team equipment will be assigned to a player and it is their responsibility to ensure that it gets on and off the bus and to and from the field.

PROPER ATTIRE ON AND OFF THE FIELD

  • Do not let anyone else wear your clothing/gear.
  • Remember that you are representing yourself, your team, your family and your school – WEAR IT WITH PRIDE.
  • When in game uniform, whether on the bus, on approach to a game or when arriving to a home game, you are expected to be fully dressed (shirts tucked in and socks pulled up). The exception is your game jersey can be put on at the game site after warm ups.
  • Team issued gear is your responsibility. Take care of it. If you lose any of your uniform, gear or equipment, you will be required to replace that item at your own expense.
  • Athletes are responsible for their equipment. Make sure your equipment adheres to VHSL rules and regulation.
  • You are required to respect your equipment and the equipment that you are provided. Do not throw helmets, bats or misuse any other gear.
  • Have all gear available at all times for varying weather conditions.

TRAINING ROOM AND INJURY POLICY

  • Please report all injuries and illnesses to: Coach Sullivan (Varsity) or Coach Thomas (JV) and athletic trainer immediately!
  • If you are injured and are required sit out of practice/games due to the injury, you are required to participate in all team activities, be on time, and remain throughout the entire activity, unless you are required to be in the training room for rehab. Find a way to make yourself useful, DO NOT SIT AND “HANG OUT” and do not wait for the coaches to delegate a responsibility to you – take ownership and make yourself useful.
  • If you are required to be in the training room for treatment, be there!!! Missing treatment is equal to missing practice, and the same penalties will apply. If you are not getting treatment for an injury, then it is assumed that you are healthy enough to perform at 100%.
  • Be respectful of the training room and the training staff. They are a support to you and are not to be abused.

PUNCTUALITY

  • Practice, pre-game, meetings and departure times are firm! Please be early for all. Being on time means that you are on the field, uniformed and ready to go at the scheduled practice or pre-game time. Shirts tucked in… Gloves, helmets, batting gloves out and available.
  • “Unexcused absences” to practice will result in disciplinary action. First offense = not starting; Second and third offense = 1-2 game suspension; forth offense = Dismissal from team.
