Major General Jack Weinstein commands 20th Air Force, USAF Global Strike Command and Task Force 214, US Strategic Command, F.E. Warren AFB, WY. He is responsible for the nation’s ICBM (missile) force which includes over 9,600 people organized into three operational wings. He was also Exec. Officer, 20th Air Force and Vice Commander of Global Strike Command that includes ICBM, B2, and B-52 bomber wings. He served in SW Asia as Director, Space Forces in support of Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom. General Weinstein’s joint assignments were at US STRATCOM, Offut AFB, NB.
General Weinstein was commissioned as a distinguished graduate from ROTC in 1982 and earned a BS Degree in Criminal Justice at University of Lowell, MA. He has commanded at all echelons and served as missile crew commander, instructor and flight commander. He has master’s degrees from Embry-Riddle and the Industrial College of the Armed Forces and a 2006 executive fellowship at the JFK School of Government at Harvard Univ. Some of his highest decorations include the Legion of Merit and Distinguished Service Medal.
Professor Marvin Weatherwax Sr. teaches Blackfeet language and culture studies at the Blackfeet Community College, Browning, MT. He served in the U.S. Army (1967-1972) as an airborne Ranger communications specialist, which included joint combat operations with the ‘River-rats’ in Vietnam. Marvin’s father, William W. Weatherwax, served in WWII and Korea in the Army. Marvin’s son Dustin joined the Army in 2003, and was in combat in Iraq and Afghanistan as an airborne Ranger. Another son, Marvin R. Weatherwax Jr., served in the Marine Corps and his brother Shawn Vaile was in the U.S. Army and a sister, Kathleen Molly, in the U.S. Navy.

The association established and maintains this memorial to honor and recognize all veterans of all branches of military service to the United States of America, in peace and in war. A Veteran is defined as any man or woman of any age who has served in any branch of the military of the United States of America in any capacity, and to honor men and women living and deceased equally.
