In consideration of participation in the Coach Mac Classic 3 on 3 Tournament, hereinafter referred to as the ‘Event’ the undersigned hereinafter referred to as ‘participant’ acknowledges and agrees to the following: The game of hockey is a hazardous activity and participation in the ‘Event’ is hazardous and involves risks and dangers of serious bodily injury, including permanent disability, paralysis, and death. I understand the inherent risks and knowingly and freely assume all such risks, both known and unknown, and assume full responsibility for my participation. I agree to follow all ‘Event’ rules and regulations. I hereby release, discharge, and covenant not to sue Northland Hockey, or any of their employees, all for the purposes herein referred to as the ‘Releases’ From all liability and any and all claims, demands, losses, or damage on account of any injury to me, including but not limited to death, or damage of property, caused or alleged to be caused, in whole or in part, by the negligence of the ‘Releasees’ or otherwise. If, despite this release, I make a claim against any of the releasees named above, I AGREE TO INDEMNIFY AND SAVE AND HOLD HARMLESS THE RELEASEES and each of them from any litigation expenses, attorney fees, liability, damage or cost they may incur due to the claim against any of the ‘releasees’ named above, whether the claim is based on the negligence of the releasees or otherwise.
