This meet will be conducted under the auspices of Southeastern Swimming, Inc. of USA Swimming. USA Swimming technical rules and regulations will be followed with the exception of items specifically addressed in the meet information.

Facilities:25-yard, 8-lane outdoor pool with water depthThe pool depth at 1 meter from the start-end is 6’, at 5 meters from the start-end the depth is 5’6”; depth at 1 meter from the turn-end of the pool is 6’”, and depth at 5 meters from the turn end is 6’.The competition course has not been certified in accordance with 104.2.2C(4).

All officials planning on being at the meet and working should contact the Meet Referee. There will be an officials meeting 30 minutes prior to each session
Rules:USA Swimming rules will govern the meet. “Any swimmer entered in the meet, unaccompanied by a USA Swimming member coach, must be certified by a USA Swimming member coach as being proficient in performing a racing start or must start each race from within the water. It is the responsibility of the swimmer or the swimmer’s legal guardian to ensure compliance with this requirement.” 6/9/2010
Use of audio or visual recording devices, including a cell phone, is prohibited in changing areas, rest rooms or locker rooms.Changing into or out of swimsuits other than in locker rooms is prohibited. Conduct of swim teams and their swimmers are subject to the rules and regulations of the facility. Drones are prohibited over venues any time athletes, coaches, officials and/or spectators are present.
Warm-Up:Southeastern Swimming Meet Safety Guidelines and Warm-up Procedures will be in effect at this meet. The Meet Director will post a warm-up schedule the week of the meet and announce the warm-up assignments prior to the start of each session. Swimmers attending the meet without a coach must report to the Meet Director or Referee to be assigned a coach for warm-up prior to each session. A Swimmer Assignment Form will be completed for all swimmers without coaches. All times are Central Time Zone times.

Eligibility:All swimmers must be USA Swimming registered. Coaches and officials must show and display certification as required by USA Swimming. Any swimmer entered in the meet, unaccompanied by a USA Swimming member coach, must be certified by a USA Swimming member coach as being proficient in performing a racing start or must start each race from within the water. It is the responsibility of the swimmer or the swimmer’s legal guardian to ensure compliance with this requirement. All swimmers must be 2017 USA Swimming registered athletes. Entries will not be accepted without 2017 registration numbers. There will be no on-deck USA Swimming Registration at this meet. USA Swimming numbers must appear on all entry forms. Age as of Saturday September 9, 2017 will determine age group. As required by Southeastern Swimming, Inc., coaches shall display, in an obvious location, their USAS membership cards to be allowed on deck. Compliance shall be the responsibility of the Host Meet Referee or Director – they may assign the responsibility to other meet personnel. Coaches shall check in with the Clerk of Course to verify credentials and obtain coaches packets before their swimmers enter the pool.
Entries:Entries will be limited to the 4 hour rule of USA Swimming. Meet director reserves the right to reorganize the meet as necessary to stay with in the guidelines of USA swimming. Please use best short course yard times. Swimmers may enter four (4) individual events per day exclusive of relays. Entry forms, recap sheet, and waiver must be legible, accurate and include swimmers’ first and last name, age and USA Swimming registration number. Teams using Hytek software are encouraged to submit entries as an e-mail file and/or on disk.

Late entries will be accepted at the discretion of the Meet Director or Clerk of Course up to 30minutes prior to the start of the meet. Swimmers may not scratch an event in order to late enter another. Late entries will not appear in the heat sheet. Late entries accepted will be placed in open lanes of existing heats. No new heats will be formed and no heats will be reseeded. A late entryfee will be charged as previously described and must be paid to the Clerk of Course at the time the swimmer or relay is accepted, unless teams have made other arrangements.

Seeding:All events are timed finals and will be seeded according to USA Swimming rules.
Special Accommodations:
Disabled swimmers are welcome. If they require services and/or reasonable accommodations they should complete and return the enclosed information form prior to the entry deadline.
Awards:Ribbons will be awarded to first through fifth place for individual and first through third place for relay events. Heat winner ribbons will be awarded for all age groups.
