Official Entry Rules

1. Submit CD containing 2 original and previously unpublished and unrecorded songs.

2. Entry Fee: $25 for each CD; No Cassettes.

3. Include your name, address, phone number and a check for $25 for each CD you submit.

4. Each CD can contain NO more than 2 songs; however, you may submit as many CDs as you like.

5. If you wish for your CD to be returned, you must include a self-addressed, stamped envelope (Otherwise, your CD will not be returned).

6. ENTRY DEADLINE IS APRIL 15, 2017.

7. Preliminary winners will be notified by mail/email on or before April 26th, 2017.

8. Three winners will be chosen: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Each prizewinner will perform a 20-minute program of their best songs at 1pm on Saturday, May 13h on the Spring Street stage, 2 songs each during the ½ slot.

9. Preliminary winners will perform their songs on Saturday, May 13th, 2017 on the Street Stage at the GumTree Festival in Tupelo, MS.

10. The songwriters—solo, duo, or trio—who include the writer must perform the songs.

11. Writers retain all rights to their songs.

12. Sound equipment will be provided to accommodate acoustic/”un-plugged” acts.
