MOTHER'S DAYFLOWER SALE- Fidelity House's annual Mother's Day Flower Sale, including such favorites as geraniums, fuschia, impatiens and mums will be held Thursday, May 10 through Sunday, May 13 The sale is held in the Fidelity House Gym and features HANGING PLANTS, potted plants, table arrangements and fresh cut floral bouquets at reasonable prices. This fund-raiser helps support our youth programs.

MOUSEKETEER DAY- Who's the leader of the club that's made for you & me? M I C...K E Y... M O U S E ....That's Right! THIS Wednesday, Mickey Mouse wannabees will come out of the woodwork as you will have a chance to make homemade Mouseketeer ears, play Disney Charades, MOUSERCISE (an annual adventure!) and try the Mickey Mouse Club approved party games!! So Come on down to FiHo! (P.S.- Just GUESS what the loudspeaker songs will sound like on WEDNESDAY!! )

The 15th annual appreciation night will be held at our own FIDELITY HOUSE. YOU could be the ticket holder to win the $1000.00 DOOR PRIZE! The evening will include D.J. music from radio personality Hank Morse, buffet dinner, silent auction and a live auction. There will also be a special presentation honoring the memory of Tim Graham, a long time volunteer at Fidelity House. Tickets are $50 and are on sale at Fidelity House. Sponsors, silent and live auction items are being accepted. The event is a major fundraiser for Fidelity House.

How can I help? Attend the celebration event! Donate your time, ideas or silent or live auction item. Help by getting a corporate donation- does your company do matching gifts? Become a sponsor! Take out an ad in our program book. Attend the auction – and bid high! Volunteer to help with the evening. It all helps!

CHILDREN’S FAIR-Low cost family fun! A Cookout, bounce house, children’s games, face painting, field games(for 3rd – 6th graders weather permitting), popcorn, cotton candy & kid approved fun will be part of the “Hawaii FiHo” festivities this year on Saturday, May 19 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.munder the TENT in the FiHo Parking Lot. Volunteers needed!

Fidelity House offers Summer programs from the DAY kids get out of school until the DAY they go back in? JUNE FULL DAYS & AUGUST ADVENTURE DAYS are what we offer before and after DAY CAMP. You can sign up your child for DAYS or WEEKS. It’s like 3 Summers in one and never a dull moment!

PRESCHOOL Summer Days- Fidelity House offers preschoolers a chance to experience the fun of camp in an atmosphere that is geared for their needs. There will be 10 one week sessions (Monday - Friday) beginning June 11 through August 17. The program is designed for children 2.9 - 5 years old and the camp hours are 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Activities include arts & crafts, music, story time, group games, free play, nature activities, wading pools for warm days, snack time and lunch time. KINDERGARTEN & 1st GRADE CAMP-Fidelity House is now accepting registrations for our Camp offered for children who are entering Kindergarten or 1st grade. The program offers 9 one week sessions (Monday - Friday) beginning June 18 - through August 17 from 8:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Extended care is available until 5:30 p.m. for an additional fee. Activities will take place at both Fidelity House and Minuteman Regional Technical High School in Lexington and include: arts & crafts, sports-indoor & outdoor, drama, library visits, story time, field trips, cooking, exploration, music, computer time, Red Cross swimming lessons, group games & science discovery. DAY CAMP IS COMING!! Our 57th edition of Summer Day Camp will begin Monday, June 25 and continue for three sessions. We offer a camp for 2nd – 5th graders for 6 weeks and a tailored one for the older crowd, grades 6th – 8th that continues for 8 weeks. The 2nd – 5th grade Fidelity House Day Camp will again be holding many of our activities at spacious Minuteman Regional Technical High School in Lexington. The superb facilities include an Olympic size swimming pool, spacious athletic fields for outdoor recreational play and nature activities and indoor facilities for inclement weather. Activities include daily Red Cross swimming lessons, sports, arts & crafts, archery, age appropriate group activities, nature activities, free swim time, all camp field trips & talent show performances. Single week registrations are also accepted. Camp runs Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. with an option for extended care until 6:30 p.m. The 6th – 8th grade attending enjoy a healthy and constructive camping experience in an environment designed for older interests. This camp structure is designed to offer more variety and address the development of the junior high individual in a group atmosphere and is offered 9 – 3:30 p.m. with options for early arrival and later day coverage. Swimming is featured daily. We offer sports focus areas, fitness and conditioning with youth sized nautilus equipment, archery, activity workshops, Red Cross swim lessons and recreational swims, creative arts, talent shows, weekly field trips and more! MEMBERS OF THE WEEK- The FiHo Players are in the spotlight this week! They put on a fun and entertaining production on Sunday packed with talent! Even more important, every practice has been filled with laughter, enthusiasm and dedication. They were even able to work with some unplanned events, not get upset and make things work- a great life lesson for all of us!
