Job Description: EFAA Children’s Program Interns provide a wide array of assistance to the program: Lead activities with children living in our shelter, chaperone field trips, organize donations, support children’s caseworker with administrative work.
All Interns are required to attend a volunteer orientation before beginning their position. Interns will be trained and supervised by the children’s caseworker and evaluated at the end of their term and on an as needed basis.
This is an unpaid internship and all interns would need to be available during two days of the children's program.
Those hours for spring are: Lafayette - Tuesdays and Fridays 2:30-5:30pm

Qualifications: Intern needs to show compassion and be open to learning about poverty and homelessness and their effect on our community. Intern also needs to be responsible and dependable. Must pass a criminal background check
