22nd ANNUAL SCHOLASTIC AWARD
The Employee-Funded Scholarship Selection Committee, consisting of hourly and salary employees at its Hayden & Ray Complex is pleased to be offering scholarships to its employees' dependents.
Due to the increase of College and/or University expenses, we have decided to increase the contribution. If you have a dependent that is currently a high school junior, or attending college and/or university and will be applying for this scholarship, we would like for you to change the contribution to the minimum requirement, to be eligible for the scholarship.
This cover sheet includes High School and Continued Student Application form attached. Please fill out completely and must enclose a letter stating why you should be considered for this scholarship with Official & Current Transcripts.
Please note that in addition to the basic criteria, each applicant must be a dependent of an Asarco employee-paying member for (1) year to the Employee-Funded Scholarship and have contributed the requirement of $96.00 by the deadline date of December 1, 2016. Special consideration on eligibility will be given to dependents of paying members who were laid-off and/or deceased while still employed by Asarco.
Applications will be accepted any time after January 1, 2017 with a deadline for submittance of April 1, 2017. Application must be on hand inRosa Aguirre's Office by 12:00 noon
