Professional experience / STATEMENTS OF EXPERIENCE:
(a) PREVIOUS EMPLOYMENTS:
  1. I taught Mathematics and Physics at ModakekeHigh School, Modakeke, Ile-Ife from January 1969 to September 1969 as an N.C.E. Teacher
2. During the Summer Vacation of 1970/71 Session, I
worked at the then Niger Dams Authority (NDA) (now
part of NEPA) at the Kainji Generating Station, Kainji,
New Bussa.
3. During the 1971/72 Session, I was employed by the
University of Lagos Council as a Part-Time
Demonstrator in the Faculty of Engineering to Conduct
and mark experiments (6 hours per week) in the
Electrical Machines Laboratory.
4. From June 1972 to September 1972, I worked with
Schlumberger (Nig.) Oil Services Company, Warri, in
the capacity of Electrical Engineer. While there, I
undertook maintenance and repair of Electrical
Equipments for the logging of oil wells.
5. From January 1973 to September 1973, I worked with
an Electrical Engineering Consulting Firm (TACAS
Associates, Yaba, Lagos as a Design Engineer. While
there, I took part in the planning, design, supervision
and commissioning of major Electrical Installation
Works. I prepared lots of Bills of Quantities including
costing and tender adjudication. The following are
some of the major projects with which I was
associated:
- University of Lagos Male Hostel (Jaja Hall) Planning, Design and Supervision.
- University of Lagos – a block of flats accommodating
Bank, Bookshop and Post Office (Supervision and
Commission).
- Nigerian Navy Buildings at Apapa Elemu (Bills of

6. From September 1974 to February 1976, I was
employed as a Part- Time Lecturer at the University of
Manchester Institute of Science and Technology

(FORTRAN IV) to some selected industrialists.
