References / § Galileo once remarked on Vesalius, “Vesalius, known for his remarkable studies of the human anatomy, is a marvelous scientist, both intelligent and successful. We even share the quality of proving other fellow scientists discoveries false due to our extensive experiments.”
§ Harvey, the new and upcoming scientist, studying mainly on the workings of the heart, once remarked that, “My colleague is marking a new age of discoveries, observing and dissecting the human body, rather than the bodies of animals, such as the scientist Galen already has.”
§ One may say that Newton, the professor known for the gravitational laws, is the greatest and most popular scientist. Even he recognized that Vesalius was opening a new “body” of knowledge. He remarked, “Although we may be professors of more vastly different studies, I support Andreas Vesalius in his studies completely. He has started to slowly pave the way for knowledge, and although we are very different in our studies, I will support any scientist who will make new and innovative studies.”
