Dear 21-6A Cross Country Coach,
The district meet will be held at Atascocita High School, 13300 Will Clayton PKWY, Humble TX, 77346 on Friday, October 13th. The course will be in the back of the school near the athletic fields. Course map will be provided. Buses should be parked anywhere close to the football field.
ENTRIES:
District Eligibility sheet is due to Jana Williams at , five days prior to the meet. All meet entries will be done through www.directathletics.com . Please have entries in by Wednesday October 11th at 12:00 NOON. Only 7 runner per race, all others in Open race.
MEET WORKERS:
Each School will provide one worker. Please send workers name and school to Jana.
TIME SCHEDULE: Varsity races and JV boys = 5K, JV girls and 9th boys = 2 mile
8:00 a.m. Coaches Meeting
8:30 a.m. Varsity Boys
9:00 a.m. Varsity Girls
9:25 a.m. JV Boys
9:55 a.m. JV Girls
10:20 a.m. Freshman Boys
10:40 a.m. Open Girls/Freshman boys (2 mile)
11:10 a.m. Open Boys (5K)
11:30 a.m. AWARDS PRESENTATION
AWARDS:
Top 15 Individuals will receive medals in each race. Top 10 Varsity and top 5 in other races will be recognized at the awards presentation.
REGIONAL MEET INFO:
Humble ISD is responsible for sending all qualifiers who advance to regional (top 10 individuals from the Varsity races/ top 3 teams) in the “UIL CROSS COUNTRY MEET RESULTS” manual form to region III. However, please remember it is each schools responsibility to register their qualifier at ww.directathletics.com. Your direct athletics confirmation sheet serves as you entry into the meet.
