2018STUDENT MEMBERSHIP GUIDELINES

Student membership is open to any individual, regardless race, color, creed, sex, religion, marital status, registered domestic partner status, age, national origin or ancestry, physical or mental disability, medical condition including genetic characteristics, sexual orientation and must meet the following eligibility guidelines:

  1. Must be a freshman, sophomore, junior, senior, or graduate student in an accredited college or university.
  1. Enrolled in a minimum of 8 units under the quarter system, or 6 units at an under the semester system.
  1. Academic course work must have a Human Resources emphasis or be closely related.
  1. Unemployed or working 20 hours or less per week, not receiving benefits.
  1. Proof of Eligibility: Submission of the PIHRA Student Membership Application must be accompanied by current class schedule. The membership application must also include a signed approval by the student’sfaculty advisor or appropriate department chair, verifying the student’s eligibility of membership (see attached form). All above noted documents must be submitted to PIHRA Home Office for processing in one packet. When registering for student membership online, individual must submit current class schedule and faculty approval immediately via email to . Membership will be in suspense until noted documents are received.
  1. Payment of $30 for Student Membership. Each 12 months the student will be able to renew at the same price. Upon graduation, the student will be able to renew as a Professional Member at a discounted price.
