2018 RIACA SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION FORM

Note: Scholarship applications will be evaluated on their own merit based on the criteria listed in the announcement.

Application Requirements

Eligibility Requirements

  • High school seniors with RIACA membership (For RIACA membership application information, please visit
  • At the time of application, an applicant must be a U.S. citizen or a permanent resident.

All Applicants

  • Submit one completed scholarship application form (Word or pdf). Form also available at Electronic submission is required.
  • Submit an essay of 300-500 words.
  • Have one letter of recommendation from one of your teachers and an endorsement from a member of RIACA.
  • Must include the official academic transcripts, SAT/ACT score report.
  • No more than 10 pages of application materials will be accepted.
  • Incomplete applications will not be considered.
  • All application materials must be received on or before Jan. 15, 2018. Materials arriving after the deadline will not be considered.
  • In person interview is mandatory, please make sure you are available on Jan. 27, 2017 (Saturday) for possible interview.

One letter of recommendation is required from your teacher. Reference should comment on your character and potential for leadership and/or for making a significant contribution to our society.
