LOVE INC CHRISTMAS ADOPT A FAMILY

FAMILY- 59

Carole is a young Mother with 2 little boys; a 3 year old and a 3 month old. She has had a very rough year. She is recovering from surgery she had on November 17th. She is about to leave a shelter and move into a low-income apartment. She is optimistic that next year will be better, but for now she is still in need of help. Any Christmas Joy you could share with her would be a blessing.

Ø  Groceries or a gift certificate for groceries would help this family.

Ø  A gift certificate from GVEA would also be a big help.

Ø  Any clothing gift would be a practical and helpful gift.

Alyial, the 3 year old son

He wears a size 4T and any clothing would be appreciated. He was described as an active boy. He likes to play with little Hot Wheel cars. He is a big fan of Iron Man. He would have a good time with a sled. Lego’s would be another gift option.

Ajraiyu, the 3 month old son

He wears a size 3 – 6 month baby clothes. He is drinking Similac regular formula and Mother said she is always in need of that. Teething toys or baby bath toys would be another gift option. Disposable diapers, size 3 (and wipes) would be another practical gift option.

Carole, the Mother

A personal gift for her would be a pair of boots size 9, gloves (size medium), and a hat. A sweater size 3X would be another personal gift option. She asked me to tell you that she likes her sweaters big enough to keep the baby inside, she is really not a size 3X.

Household Needs:

She has nothing for the new apartment. Here are some suggestions to choose from:

She will need a crib and twin size bed for the children, and bedding.

She will need dishes, silverware, pots & pans, & cooking utensils.

Broom & dust pan, garbage can & liners, clothes hangers, toilet paper.

Other information:

A gift certificate from the Salvation Army thrift store, or Value Village would help.

A gift certificate from a store that carries used baby furniture might be a good gift alternative.

She does not have a Christmas tree, decorations, or lights.
