Applicants are strongly advised to attend the Intellectual Property Workshop on January 15, 2018. The following are NOT requirements for application to the challenge but teams should be aware of and have addressed the following.

Project Funding to Date

List funding sources to date for this project. Please note this is a competitive challenge and projects with $25,000 or less in prior funding will be preferred and prioritized. Teams that have received angel, seed or series A funding are not eligible to apply.

Summary of the Project or Product (elevator pitch)

Projects should relate to the challenge theme of “Devices for Better Care, Better Health and Better Health Science”.

Budget

Winning teams will receive a $7000 fellowship. Please upload a detailed budget and prototype development plan. Summarize the budget below outlining material, labour and contract costs as well as key milestones. Teams should complete their prototype for demonstration by April 1, 2018.

Proof of Validation of Science

Summarize the background research, publications or validation for the technology or application of the project. Include any relevant links or references. Please upload any relevant publications or detailed technology overviews.
