The Esprit Procurement summer internship is an intensive 12 week opportunity available to current MBA students who are looking for a dynamic experience in procurement within GSK. You will work on projects critical to GSKs business that will require you to show strategic insight, application of financial skills, analytical ability and leadership capability. During this time you will be provided with the appropriate level of support and training and will also have the opportunity to interact with senior leaders.
We provide the partnership, strategic counsel and support services the business units need to operate efficiently and effectively. This enables us to focus on developing, manufacturing and delivering medicines, vaccines and products to the patients and consumers who need them.

Esprit Procurement Leadership program’s overall goal is to support, stretch, develop and deliver leaders of the future. You will build your breadth of experience and leadership capabilities through this accelerated development program.
How does the Esprit Procurement Leadership program work? You will spend 3 years on a fast track development program, working your way towards as potential Senior Procurement leadership role.
Beginning in your home country, you will have 3 rotations, which may include international experience.
Through challenging rotations, you will gain in-depth knowledge across a range of disciplines, including Strategic Sourcing, Data & Analytics, Team Leadership and Commercial Partnering. Throughout the Esprit Procurement program, you will cultivate a broad global business perspective, further develop your learning curve and accelerating your career plan every step of the way we’ll provide you with intensive development, training and support to help you to achieve your greatest potential.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Applicant must be eligible to work in the US at the time of, and for the duration of their employment. Employees will be required to furnish evidence of US work authorization.
- Applicant must not require future sponsorship for an employment visa status.
- Applicant must be able to work on a full-time basis for 12 weeks from May/June 2018 through to August/September 2018.
- 1st year MBA
- Track record of achievement and leadership in work and/or extracurricular activities
- Desire for a career in the healthcare industry
- Must have 3+ years solid business based experience pre-business school.
- English language fluency required
