Polk Fit Challenge

Description of Activities

Walk Fit- A walking event that will increase the heart rate by incorporating brisk and some uphill walking. Suitable for all fitness levels.

Walking with Ease- A walking event tailored to the senior population or those that may have limited mobility. Suitable for beginner fitness levels.

Walk with a Doc- Same level as Walk Fit, but with an added treat of walking with a local doctor.

Straw Walk- A walking event that encourages a faster pace. A circuit workout for a set period of time and receive a straw for each lap – see how many straws you can collect, and increase number each week. Suitable for all fitness levels.

Fitness Trail Cross Fit- A mix of interval workouts utilizing the great outdoors as a “gym”. Suitable for all fitness levels.

Boot Camp- A total body workout with a mix of intervals and cardio bursts. Suitable for all fitness levels.

Landrum Run- A one mile run with weekly increases. Suitable for beginners and active runners.

Ageless Grace Brain Fitness Program- Exercises based on everyday movements that are natural and organic, focus on the healthy longevity of the body and mind. Suitable for all fitness levels.

Tone it Up- A class that will strengthen and tonemuscles with a complete body workout. The fast pace will also add the cardio element for burning calories.Suitable for all fitness levels.
