2017 -NYLT Staff Commitment
I promise on my honor as a Scout, that I will faithfully live according to the Scout Oath and Law during the 2017 National Youth Leadership Training Courses and thereafter. I will represent my unit with honor and do all I can to set an example in knowledge, skills, proper uniforming, and attitude as a staff member of the course.
I have reviewed the requirements and schedule for the course, and I understand the time commitment involved and the high standards set for staff members. I am prepared to do my best.
I personally commit to attend all staff development dates listed as well as my selected week 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5. I further understand that my attendance is required and that I may be dropped from the Staff for non-attendance at the discretion of the Scoutmaster. I understand that exceptions to this policy may be made for family emergencies, illness, or similar circumstances, and I agree to discuss any such conflict with my Senior Patrol Leader and my Scoutmaster prior to the given date.
I understand that the intent of this policy is to ensure that the staff is at highest level of preparation, both as individuals and as teams, and pledge to do my part to fulfill this goal.
I understand that the uniform for all meetings is the Official Field Uniform with a activity shirt worn underneath. This uniform always includes official scout pants with shirt, staff hat and staff T-shirt, shorts, socks, belt, neckerchief, and woggle.

Session #1: Starts at 8:00pm on Friday, May 23rd and Ends at Noon on Saturday, May 31st.
Session #2: Sign-off starts at 10:00am, Saturday, May 31st with CD’s and CL’s of both sessions. Session Starts at Noon on Saturday, May 31st and Ends at Noon on Saturday, June 7th.
Session #3: Sign-off starts at 10:00am, Saturday, June 7th with CD’s and CL’s of both sessions. Session Starts at Noon on Saturday, June 7th and Ends at 5:00pm on Satuday, June 15th.
Breakdown Day: Starts at 9:00am (with all staff from Sessions #1 and #2 and #3 in attendance!) and End at 4:00pm.
