Nomination Form

Eligibility:

  1. Nominees must be a Greensboro small business with 100 or fewer employees within the greater Greensboro area. Foundations, individual philanthropists, government agencies and arts organizations are not eligible to compete. Self nominations are accepted.
  2. Recipients of the Arts in Business Awardmust have a significant impact on the arts through a variety of activities or through a single project of significant magnitude.

Past recipients: The View on Elm (2016), Tate Street Coffee (2015), Just Be (2014), and PhotoBiz (2013).

Award decisions will be made based on the information contained in the nomination form. The Arts in Business Award recipient will be recognized among their peers at theGreensboro Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business Awards Luncheon on May 2, 2017. Nominations must be received by ArtsGreensboro by 5pm on Thursday, March 30, 2017.

Examples of activities that support a nomination:

  • Business that promotes the arts in one or more ways (gallery that promotes art, performance venue, or has an arts education component)
  • Business that hosts community events that focus on the arts
  • Business that volunteers on behalf of the arts (employee participation, sponsorship for financial support of the arts)
  • Business that incorporates the arts into their company culture
  • Business that makes an impact on individual employees, customer, clients and/or community through their arts support or engagement
  1. Submit 3-5 letters of support of the nominee. Each letter of support should not exceed one page in length. Up to five photos may be included in addition to the nomination letters.
