2017-2018 Nashville Sounds’ Reading Program

Dear DWS Parents, Guardians, Faculty, and Staff,

We are excited to offer the Nashville Sounds’ Reading Program. Here’s some information you need to know!

●Dates: Thursday, January 4th throughFriday, March 2nd

●Students need to accumulate the required number of points. Grade: ______Points Required: ______

●There will be NO make-up days due to snow or bad weather! (Hint: It would be a good idea to read over the winter break and have a book or two ready for the day we return!)

●If a student earns all his/her required points, a home run is earned, which entitles the student to a free ticket to a Sounds’ game as well as an invitation to the AR In-School Dance during the 4th Nine Weeks.

Families attending will provide their own transportation and will be responsible for completing the paperwork and necessary steps to obtain the actual ticket to the game. Information will be provided if a homerun is earned.

Again, our goal is to motivate students to “learn, achieve, and succeed” by reading, reading, reading! I hope this opportunity will help with that motivation! Good luck, and happy reading! - Mrs. Amanda Mullinax
