2017/2018 Mathematics GCSE Scheme of Work
This 3-year scheme of work is differentiated and personalised for the identified requirements of Brownhill Learning Community.
Using Edexcel Pearson Steps assessment and resources, the SOW identifies the need for diverse and relevant tasks needed to cater for all academic levels accordingly.
Working through the SOW pupils will prepare and develop to access the Edexcel GCSE examinations at the end of Year 11.
End of HT assessments are found in the curriculum folder on the staff O Drive and teaching resources/knowledge support and development activities are within the Edexcel textbooks accessible across all three sites.
The Year 11 primarily concentrates on allowing pupils to successfully attain Functional Skills Qualifications within the first half-term prior to working towards GCSE examinations for the remainder of the year
