This letter serves as the biennial renewal notice for registration of your aircraft certificate.
If all information below is correct, you are encouraged to renew online at https://ppr.dot.illinois.gov. Otherwise,
date and sign the notice, detach the bottom portion of this notice and mail it, along with your payment, to the Division
of Aeronautics. There are no additional fees for registering online.
If any information below is incorrect or missing, correct or add information on the back side of this sheet, date
and sign the notice, detach the bottom portion of this notice and mail it, along with your payment, to the Division of
Aeronautics.

If you purchased a new aircraft: Complete form AER 2048: Application for Registration of Federal Aircraft Certificate. You may download the form at www.idot.illinois.gov/doing-business/registration/ or you may call and we will mail a form to you.

If you are no longer required to register the aircraft, indicate the reason by checking the appropriate box below.

The registration fee is not required if you provide an exemption. Dealer Inventory requires an FAA Dealer certificate.

If your aircraft is sold to an Illinois resident the new owner must complete AER 2048: Application for Registration of Federal Aircraft Certificate and submit it with the appropriate registration fee. You must also notify the Division so our records will not show ownership in your name, should the new owner fail to register.

Effective with the 2014/15 cycle we no longer issue aircraft decals for registration.
