2015 Summer Bonspiel meeting – July 12th at 7 pm

Attendance: Lynn Derry, John Gorrie, Keith Ainsley, Pat Langelo, Myrna Proulx, Loraine Gagnon & Terry Sawyer

A discussion regarding the length of time for each draw and the responsibility of each team to play 8 ends within the two hour time frame. A suggestion was made to appoint a committee marshal.

This will be the 40th anniversary of the Kerry Park Summer Spiel. As in years past, it was agreed that we should bring back the *T-Shirt* including the anniversary date & logo. For the

t-shirt & logo printing, Myrna will contact Harlequin Graphics and Keith will contact Paul Kondal. We will ask Erdmann to request t-shirt sizes for the team players by email.

John reported (for Erdmann) that Judy Knaack had the covers underway for the trophy chairs. Myrna will contact Judy with the Kerry Park logo.

John is going to approach Thrifty Foods for donation(s)

John read out the 20 teams registered and was advised that there

are two more – July 12th 22 teams and climbing!

Keith advised that they had a team of 4 for the 50/50 committee.

Lorraine confirmed that she and Roz Craig would finish up the past lotto report so that they could apply for a new lotto license.

Keith reported his progress on his donation list.

Pat has all her donation letters out and has had some positive responses.

Myrna has confirmed donations from Dean Joanisse, Western Speedway, Elite10 curling passes.

Myrna confirmed the decorations for the team names will be on pyjama tops and bottoms. Confirmed the camping tickets will be date stamped. She will advise the cost of having the name boards and curling draws laminated for re-use.

Terry reported the *B* & *C* & *D* sponsors have all confirmed for the 2015 spiel.

Duncan Ironworks is going to have their logo in-ice on all four sheets.

Lorraine has a prize from Cherry Point Vineyard – tasting for six.

Lynn has volunteered to help with the registration table.

Once we know the final tally of the donations, prizes will have to be purchased to make up the balance. 16 trophy chairs and 64 table prizes. Rhonda Stoner & Diane Owens have offered to do the shopping.

Next meeting(s): August 9th and August 30th – 7 pm in the KP lounge.
