Tournament Playing Rules
8u
· This will be a Saturday only, double round robin tournament (play each team twice).
· Medals and trophies will be awarded to the top TWO teams.
· Places will be decided by: Most wins, least losses, runs allowed, runs scored.
· Each team will need to provide one USSSA 11” approved ball to the umpire at the plate meeting. We will NOT be using the RIF balls for this tournament.
· 60 minute time limit
· Games can end in a tie
· Teams can bat their roster with free defensive substitutions.
· All other USSSA rules apply.

· 75 minute time limit
· Pool play games can end in a tie
· Top two teams from each pool will go to the GOLD bracket. The remaining teams in each pool will go to the SILVER Bracket
· Seeding will be determined by: Wins/Losses, Runs allowed and then runs scored.
· 5 run limit per inning during pool play AND Silver bracket Play. No inning run rule for the GOLD bracket play on Sunday.
· Medals and trophies will be awarded to the top two teams in each of the brackets (Gold and Silver). An MVP award will also be awarded to a player on the winning team. Voted on by the coaches and players of the runner-up team.
· Each team must provide an 11” approved USSSA ball to the umpire before each game.
· During pool play teams can bat their entire roster with free defensive substitutions. Strait USSSA championship rules apply during bracket play on Sunday.
· International tie breaker rule will be used on Sunday.
· All other USSSA rules apply
