  3. Spend at least 30 minutes at home studying and preparing for class per 80 minute block.
  4. Constantly stay updated with news and information concerning the class by visiting our class website and checking your email often.

  6. Bring required materials to class each day.
  7. Engage in independent study and review in addition to regular class and tutoring sessions.
  8. Follow all rules and regulations as stated in the Lancer Life.

Class Policies

  1. ALL WORK SHOULD BE COMPLETED BY THE DUE DATE, WHETHER IT IS IN CLASS OR THE NEXT MEETING.
  2. Anything you turn in must be written legibly or typed. If I can't read it, I cannot give credit.
  3. All work should be completed using complete sentences, proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
  4. Be in class on time. If absent, you are still responsible for all notes and material covered in class.

Late-work Policy

  1. Late work is only accepted up until each topic test.
  2. Depending on completeness and correctness, late scores will be no greater than 60% of the point value.
  3. Late work is my last priority on the grading/to-do list. Sometimes it takes me longer to get your late work back to you. Please remember this when checking your grades.

Notebook

It is my sincere belief that one of the tools to make yourself a better student is to be prepared and to be organized. For this reason your notebook in this class as well as in all classes should be something that is properly maintained, and present when needed. If you do not feel that you are an unorganized student then this class will provide you the opportunity to become one. Randomly throughout the semester I will collect and check your notebook. If your notebook is not properly organized your grade will be affected directly by your lack of preparation.

Course Website

The course website is designed to help you throughout the school year. There you can find weekly announcements, videos for your homework assignments, videos for you to watch about topics covered and not covered in class, back up copies of homework and classwork, back up copies of your study guides, and anything else I give out in class. You can use it to contact me via email or just find out more general information about the course. If you are absent from class and can continue to work from home assignments are available for you to download. If you lost your assignment or forgot it in your locker you can use it to obtain a fresh copy. REMEMBER I don't accept homework unless it is on the worksheet or one you printed out from home. No loose leaf copies accepted unless I instruct you to do so.

Quiz/Test Make up

No make-up quizzes will be given. No score will be given for that quiz. This does not hurt or help your grade.

Test's will be made up upon the students return to class. Calendar dates are posted. Know when your test dates are.
