Overview and requirements of students enrolled in the Radio Broadcasting IIclass:

Vocational Training: Students who are involved with Kat Radio will be trained using Industry Standard equipment and software. They will build a much greater understanding of what it takes to become a Radio Personality, manage a radio station, and handle marketing/advertising opportunities for local businesses. Each student in this class is responsible for part of the radio broadcast each week, and the class grade is dependent on the efficient and accurate completion of the tasks. Positions are available behind-the scenes and on-the-air, and positions are assigned on a rotation basis. Students are required to work behind-the scenes and on-the-air and possibly attend a variety of school events, after school hours. Students must work together as a team to complete tasks that are assigned by the director.

If you are interested in enrolling in the Radio Broadcasting II class for the 2015-2016school year, ask 3 of your current teachersto complete the attached Teacher Recommendation Form and turn them in to Coach Holcombon or beforethe deadline stated at the bottom of the page.
