EYFS and KS1 pupils will enjoy regular access to multi-skills festivals and activities with other schools in the partnership.

FSN Sports Clubs. / 1. Individual staff to organise and run lunchtime sports clubs which are open to all pupils.
5. Promotion of different competitive sports opportunities for pupils to experience and try.
2. FSN to organise regular annual inter-house sports competitions and tournaments open to all pupils.
3. Celebration and reward for individual and team success. / Sports club equipment including:
FSN team strips
Basketballs and goals
Footballs and nets

Short tennis rackets, balls and net
Aerobic skipping ropes and music CDs
Softballs, hoops, bibs, cricket sets, hockey sets and multi-skills sets

Sports-based Personal Learning Activities. / 1. FSN to organise visiting educational sports activity providers to deliver a six week programme of sports-based activity as part of the school’s Personal Learning Activity curriculum.

Slanted Dance Company / Total = £1,300 / All pupils will have the opportunity to experience a range of sports activities not usually offered as part of the National Curriculum to develop and explore their personal areas of interest in sport and physical activity.

Active Play Times. / 1. FSN to purchase a range of multi-skill sports equipment for pupils to use during playtimes.
2. Staff on duty to organise team games and activities during playtimes for pupils to take part in. / Multi-skills sports equipment including:
Parachutes
Skipping ropes
Bats and balls
Hoops
Catching cups and balls
Balance boards
Softballs
Bean bags / Total = £300 / All pupils will have access to active playtimes with organised physical activities taking place to promote fitness and a healthy lifestyle.

A survey carried out amongst the 168 children in the school in April 2016 shows that the following % regularly participate in the sports activities and clubs listed:

The % of children who say that they enjoy regularly participating in sport and PE activities at the school is: 90%.
The % of children who have won trophies or medals for competitive sports is: 35%
The % of children who have achieved 25m, 50m and 100m+ swimming awards in Years 5 – 6 during the past year is: 75%.
Judgement: based upon the survey data the Sports and PE Premium funding at The Free School Norwich delivers good value for money.
