Dear 128 families,

I am writing to you today to thank you for a successful128 summer club season. This summer was a solid season for 128 Lacrosse. Our success was due to talented players, excellent coaching staff and the support from each of you. Our coaching staff enjoyed working with your sons this summer. We are committed to each 128 player’s development as lacrosse players.

2014 128 Fall Seasonis upon us. I want to provide you with current information. Registration is open now at 128Lacrosse.com. 128 is offering the following teams for our Fall Season:

2015/2016 combined teams * invitation only

2017/2018 combined teams * invitation only

2019/2020 combined teams

2021/2022 combined teams

128 offers combined teams in the fall. We understand many players cannot participate in fallball due to participating in other sport commitments.

High School teams will carry 1 to 2 goalies, 6 poles, 6 to 5 attack men and 8 to 9 middies. These positions will be filled by a first come first serve basis. A total of 22 players will be roistered on a team.

Fall Ball Program

High School Teams will have 3 practices and attend two tournaments. Tournaments include Mid Fall Classic at UMASS Amherst on 11/2/14 and Crimson Fall Classic at Harvard University on 11/9/14.

Youth and Middle school teams will have 2 practices and attend 1 tournament. These teams will attend the Prime Time Fall Classic on 10/ 26that Ashland High School.

What is the make-up of the squads for fall season?

Can I sign up now?

Registration is open now for all teams on our website 128lacrosse.com by invitation only. Teams will be filled on a first come first serve basis. Returning players have until September 1, 2014 to sign up then registration will be open to new invited players.

Any new coaching staff members?

Yes, 128 Lacrosse Club is announcing two new coaches, Dave Roche and Steve Duffy.

Dave Roche: Former varsity coach at Needham High School, Algonquin High School, Arlington High School and was the President of Viking Lacrosse Club.

Steve Duffy: Former varsity coach at Waltham High School (18 yrs.), Former Head coach of the MLL -Boston Cannons (2011 Champs), 1999 Boston Globe and Eastern Massachusetts Lacrosse Coaches Association (EMLCA) Coach of the Year Award and Assistant Coach of the New York Lizards (MLL).

Can my son play up?

The answer is no. On rare occasions I have selected players to participate in some matches that I deem are appropriate for a players level of ability. This fall limits spots for everyone because we are combining years. I don't have the flexibility to move anyone.

Is 128 having Winter Skills?

Winter Skills will be offered this January-February 2015.

We are in the planning stage and registration will be open shortly.

Tryouts?

128 Lacrosse Club is holding Tryouts this September for the upcoming 2015 Club Season.Tryouts are for our Boy’s Youth and Middle School Teams. Our High School Program is by invitation and coach recommendation only.
